Nationally known jazz/old school/classic oldies but goodies expert and former music program director for citywide concerts and cabarets / MC and host of R and B Soul and Classics, DJ C’s smooth voice is familiar to jazz audiences as host of A Touch of Jazz Show at WPEB 88.1 FM in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

From West Park Housing in West Philadelphia, DJ C learned about jazz and rhythm from his record spinners and cd playing friends. He grew up listening to pop rhythmic music, dance music, gospel music, as well as reggae music broadcasting on the top radio stations. In high school DJ C mixed funk, and soul from the late ‘60’s through the early ‘90’s studying how musicians played instrumentals in bands.

DJ C generously donates his time to community causes, involving peace, anti-drugs, and music education workshops.

Antoinette Cook @ The News Center : New Edition tore the house down in Philly August 05, 2012.

Bobby Brown, Johnny Gill, Ralph Tresvant, Michael Bivins, Ricky Bell and Ronnie DeVoe will reunite on stage at The Mann Music Center right here in my home town Philadelphia last night. The guy still have what it takes to please the crowd, especially devoted NE fans from when the group first got started.The other musical groups on the show was El DeBarge, along with Salt & Pepper The Mann Music Center brought back old school with a bang. Get ready NE fans for more New Editions suprises coming up in 2012. They will also be having there own television reality show look out for it. This is the first time the guys have performed together since their 1996 album "Home Again." From "Still In Love With You" to "Can You Stand the Rain," it's going to be a party in Philadelphia tonight !  (Did you get your tickets yet?)

"This is just the beginning," said Bell. This tour will bring all of the New Edition fans together under one roof. The next chapter of New Edition is going to be an incredible celebration to thank our fans for all of their support over the last 30 years."

Beginning their career in 1983 with the release of their debut album "Candy Girl," New Edition has truly shown that talent and integrity can endure a lifetime. Boasting three solo careers as well as hits from one of the most influential R&B groups of the 1990s, Bell Biv DeVoe, we can't wait until it's time for "Poison.
